Surface Grinding is often the only way to ensure that flatness
and thickness tolerances are met on castings, profiles and
fabrications, and Linear Grinding takes care of the
tighter tolerances.
NRIL have some of the UK's largest Lumsden Surface Grinding
capacity available.
Cylindrical Grinding
and Polishing on shafts, bearing diameters, wearing
surfaces etc. can extend the life of components as well as
achieve concentricity and tolerance.
Our capacity in this area is formidable.
Diameters up to 1000mm and lengths up to 6000mm can
be handled.
Internal
grinding of bores in components ranging from diesel engine
cylinder liners to plastic extrusion dies, hydraulic cylinders
and gearbox housings.
Our Planetary Bore Grinder is unique to the UK, capable
of Internally Bore Grinding diameters up to 1060mm by 2100mm deep.
